Md. Nahid Pervez, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Research Foundation for SUNY, University at Albany, since March 2023, focusing on environmental engineering. Nahid holds extensive editorial roles, including Guest Editor for MDPI Sustainability, Water MDPI, and Frontiers journals, contributing to wastewater treatment research and resource recovery. With a strong academic background, Nahid earned a Ph.D. in Risk and Sustainability in Civil Engineering from Università degli Studi di Salerno and has served as a Research Fellow and graduate research assistant at prominent institutions, including Wuhan Textile University and East China Normal University, emphasizing textile chemistry and urban ecological processes.

The Research Foundation for the State University of New York (RF) is the largest, most comprehensive university-connected research foundation in the country.
