Rahul Kar

Research Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY

Rahul Kar is a Research Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY's Microwave Remote Sensing Laboratory since January 2020. In addition to this role, Rahul served as an ASP Graduate Student Visitor at NSF NCAR from May 2024 to September 2024, focusing on analysis of ground-based in-situ measurements in Antarctica. Prior experience includes positions at The University of Texas at Dallas, where roles involved engineering labs and graduate research in energy storage systems. Other notable experiences include work as a Project Assistant on solar technology research in India and a tenure as an Assistant Systems Engineer Trainee at Tata Consultancy Services. Rahul holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University at Albany, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology.
