Alisha Josey

Alisha Josey currently serves as the Placemaking Manager for Hub RTP at Research Triangle Park, where responsibilities include managing community programming, placemaking initiatives, and building logistics at the HUB RTP Experience Center. Previously, Alisha held various positions at Frontier RTP, providing event support and developing new programs for community engagement. Alisha's experience also includes serving as an Event Assistant at Shawn Schindler Events, where coordination and venue transformation were key duties, and a Public Relations Intern at Largemouth Communications, where media strategies were developed for events. An earlier role in social media and event marketing at Zin Yoga Studio saw Alisha manage marketing campaigns and event logistics. Alisha's foundational skills were cultivated as a student-athlete at Appalachian State University, where time management was essential for balancing athletics and academics. Alisha holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations from North Carolina State University.
