Zachary "Zack" Kasmar is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in high-end dining and event catering. Currently serving as Executive Sous Chef at The Resort at Pelican Hill since February 2015, Zack manages two main production kitchens and oversees In Room Dining and Clubhouse dining as the Chef Tournant. Previously held the role of Banquets and Special Events Chef, focusing on modern cuisine with a classical approach in a Forbes Five Star property. Earlier roles include serving as Sous Chef at Thornton Winery, where responsibilities included managing the on-site restaurant and directing banquet functions, as well as teaching culinary classes. Zack began their career as Junior Sous Chef with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and holds a degree in Culinary Arts from Orange Coast College.
