Francis Hymel

Francis Hymel has extensive experience in emergency preparedness and response, currently serving as a Planning Specialist in Exercise, Response & Training at The Response Group since June 2019. Prior to this role, Francis was the Director of Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP)/911 and Interim Emergency Preparedness Director at St. James Parish from August 2016 to June 2019. Francis also held the position of Assistant Director OEP/911 with St. James Parish Government from June 2006 to August 2016. Earlier in the career, Francis worked as a Paramedic at Acadian Ambulance from December 1991 to June 2006. Educational background includes attendance at ED White Catholic High.
