The Resurrection Project
Guacolda Reyes has extensive experience in real estate development and housing development. Guacolda started their career in 1997 as the Vice President of Real Estate Development at The Resurrection Project, where they oversaw various projects including affordable housing, a student dorm, and a charter school. In 2017, Guacolda joined the CHICAGO METROPOLITAN HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION as the Director of Housing Development. Guacolda then worked as the Vice President at Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Guacolda holds the position of Chief Real Estate Development Officer at The Resurrection Project since October 2020.
Guacolda Reyes earned a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile between 1979 and 1986.
