Katherine Greenslade has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in immigration and nationality law. Katherine started their career as a Law Clerk at McKnight Kitzinger McCarty & Pravdic, L.L.C. in 2006, where they drafted pleadings and conducted legal research. In 2008, they worked as an Associate at Thomas J. Tyrrell, Ltd., participating in trials and conducting research in areas such as public corruption and fraud.
From 2008 to 2016, Katherine worked as a Contract Attorney for various staffing agencies and law firms, providing document review, litigation support, and translation services. During this time, they also held a role as the Undocumented Students Project Coordinator at Northeastern Illinois University, where they collaborated with professionals to provide resources and promote diversity.
In 2011, Katherine established their own law firm, The Law Offices of Katherine A. Greenslade, specializing in immigration and nationality law. Katherine served as the Managing Attorney until 2017, offering comprehensive legal representation to individuals, families, and businesses.
In 2017, they joined DiazCase P.C. as a Senior Immigration Associate, and in 2018, they became the Managing Attorney of the Immigrant Advocacy and Defense Project at The Resurrection Project. Their most recent role is Director of the TRP Immigrant Justice Legal Clinic at The Resurrection Project.
Katherine Greenslade completed their undergraduate education at Tulane University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Spanish from 1999 to 2003. During their time at Tulane, they also studied abroad at the University of Buenos Aires in 2001. Afterward, they attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2004 and Loyola University Chicago School of Law from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
