Randy Thelen

Randy Thelen has a wealth of experience in economic development and leadership roles. Randy currently serves as the President and CEO of The Right Place, Inc., a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President of the Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc. from January 2018 to March 2021. Randy also served as the Senior VP of Economic Development at the Greater Omaha Chamber from February 2014 to December 2017. Before that, they were the President of Lakeshore Advantage from June 2004 to February 2014. Randy's career in economic development began in 1997 as a Development Specialist, and they later served as the Managing Director at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation from 2000 to 2004.

Randy Thelen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Alma College, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Applied Economics at Binghamton University from 1994 to 1995.
