Anthony Piro

Anthony Piro, CLSD, is an experienced professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Director of Loss Prevention at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company since June 2015. In this role, Anthony has acted as department head during critical periods, including hotel closure and the COVID-19 pandemic, and has received recognition as a Five-Star Employee of the Quarter. Responsibilities include overseeing the Loss Prevention Department's operations, managing emergency situations, and participating in key leadership meetings. Previously, Anthony held various positions in the hotel, including Manager on Duty and Loss Prevention Officer, where skills in guest relations, staff supervision, and incident management were honed. Prior experience includes working as a Kitchen Expeditor at Amici and a Captain and Dockhand at Young Harris Water Sports LLC. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Georgia College & State University and an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Technology from Athens Technical College.
