Ana-Maria Girtu

Ana-Maria Girtu has extensive experience in the cruise industry. Ana-Maria is currently working as the Director of Cruise Hotel Operations at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Manager of Business Logistics and Project Management at the same company. Ana-Maria also worked as a Manager of Cruise Hotel Operations, where they led projects in various areas such as Content Management, Information Technology, MICE, and Environmental Sustainability. Before joining The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Ana-Maria worked as a Fleet Publishing Supervisor at Silversea Cruises, where they led the development and delivery of onboard communications content. Ana-Maria also held roles in event management and desktop publishing at MSC Cruises and Silversea Cruises. Ana-Maria began their career as a Holiday Representative at Eden Viaggi and later worked as a Graphic Hostess at MSC Crociere.

Ana-Maria Girtu has a diverse education history. Ana-Maria obtained a Diploma in Event Management from the SAA - School of Management, Università di Torino in 2017. In 2019, they earned another Diploma, this time in Project Management, from GEMA - Business School. In 2016, they received a Diploma in Digital Marketing from ACTL Milano. Prior to that, in 2012, they completed a Diploma in Master in Graphic Design, Editorial and Web Design from PC Academy. Their undergraduate studies include a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages for Business from Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. Ana-Maria also holds a High School Diploma from Dimitrie Ghika Highschool Comanesti Romania, which they received in 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Ana-Maria Girtu has obtained several certifications. These include the MTC - Beyond the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from the University of Michigan in 2022, the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® from the Project Management Institute in 2021, and the Business Acumen for Project Managers certification from LinkedIn in 2020. Ana-Maria has also completed several other certifications, including Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP)® from LinkedIn, Hospitality & Tourism Management Diploma from Florida Atlantic University, Learning to Be Assertive from LinkedIn, and Smartsheet Product Certified User from Smartsheet, all in 2020.
