Paul O'Toole

Paul O'Toole has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Paul currently holds the position of Chief Engineer at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at Puerto Marine Consultancy from 2020 to 2022. From 2016 to 2022, they were the Chief Engineer at Marella Cruises. Before that, they served as a Technical Superintendent at COLUMBIA Cruise Services Ltd in 2016, where they successfully managed the entry into service of a cruise vessel and contributed to the company's Safety Management System. Paul worked as a Chief Engineer and Second Engineer at Swire Pacific Offshore from 2013 to 2015. From 2011 to 2012, they were the Chief Engineer at Columbia Shipmanagement, responsible for managing the technical department on a cruise ship. Paul also held the position of Chief Engineer at Meridian Marine Mangement Limited from 2008 to 2010, overseeing the technical department of ro-ro and ro-pax vessels and involved in the company's new-build program. Paul started their career at Foreland Shipping as a Second Engineer and Relief Chief Engineer from 2004 to 2008.

Paul O'Toole attended Carrickfergus Grammar School from 1985 to 1992. Paul did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time. Subsequently, from 1992 to 1994, they attended the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies and earned an HND in Mechanical, Marine, and Process Engineering.
