Amina Aboobakar

Amina Aboobakar's work experience is as follows:

- Amina currently holds the position of Strategic Development and Stewardship Director at The Rivers Trust, starting in July 2020.

- Prior to their current role, Amina worked at United Utilities, starting in September 2015. During their time there, they held several positions, including Natural Capital Strategy & Planning Manager and Integrated Catchment Strategy Manager.

- Before United Utilities, Amina was employed at Severn Trent Water. Amina worked as a Biosolids Strategy Manager from December 2013 to August 2015.

- Amina's earliest work experience was as a PhD Research Student at the School of Applied Sciences, Cranfield University. Amina held this position from February 2011 to March 2014.

From 2006 to 2007, Amina Aboobakar pursued a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering at University College London, U. of London. Following this, they attended Cranfield University from 2011 to 2014, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological wastewater treatment.
