Sherri Harrison

Sherri Harrison is an experienced HR Generalist with a diverse background in human resources, currently serving at Carter Machinery since November 2015, focusing on the orientation and onboarding of new hires as well as recruitment efforts in Virginia and West Virginia. Additionally, Sherri has been with The Roanoke Times since April 2005, acting as a resource for HR benefits, policies, payroll, and recruiting needs within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as a Recruitment Specialist at Carilion Health System from August 1996 to June 1999, where Sherri specialized in filling high-demand positions and managed Affirmative Action Reporting. Sherri holds an MBA in Industrial Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.
