Caroline Atkinson is an accomplished strategic leader with extensive experience in international economics and policy. Currently serving as a Trustee and Member of the Advisory Council at the International Institute for Strategic Studies and as a Senior Global Strategist at RockCreek since 2019, Atkinson has held multiple influential roles including on the Executive Committee of the Peterson Institute for International Economics and as a Board Member at the Center for Global Development. Previously, Atkinson was the Global Head of Policy at Google and served as Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economics at the National Security Council under the Obama administration, acting as Sherpa for G7 and G20 Summits. Atkinson's earlier experience includes leadership roles at the International Monetary Fund, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and the Bank of England.
