Cathy Twigg

Cathy Twigg has over 22 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Cathy began their career in 1997 as an Assistant to Producer at MTV Films. Cathy then worked at Dreamworks Animation in various roles, including Production and Development. Cathy also served as a Story Editor/Development at Bandeira Entertainment and as a Writer's Assistant at Gordon & Conn Productions/Sony Pictures. In 2005, Twigg joined Maven Entertainment as a Producer. From 2007 to 2009, they worked in Worldwide Product Distribution at Dreamworks Animation. In 2010, they became a Producer at xgm Entertainment. Currently, Twigg is a Co-Founder and Chief Production Officer at The Rogue Initiative, where they have been since 2015. Throughout their career, they have worked on notable projects such as KUNG FU PANDA, MADAGASCAR, and HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON. Twigg is an active guest speaker at various industry events and festivals. Cathy has spoken at Casual Connect, Digital Hollywood, and Women in Tech, among others.

Cathy Twigg completed their Bachelor's degree in English Literature/Film at Louisiana State University from 1994 to 1997. Cathy then pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Screenwriting at UCLA from 1997 to 1999.
