Seyed Mansouri

Seyed joined TRG in January 2023 and holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Columbia Business School. Prior to joining TRG, Seyed served as a research and teaching assistant at Columbia Business School, where he also earned an MPhil in Finance. Seyed, holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Columbia Business School. With a research focus on analyzing the impact of capital market frictions and financial policies on the real economy, Seyed brings both empirical and theoretical approaches to his work in developed and emerging markets.

Born and raised in Iran, Seyed holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics and a Master of Science in Economics from Sharif University of Technology. In addition to his academic achievements, Seyed is also a gold medalist in Mathematics Olympiad. He is fluent in Persian and English.
