Benzion Milecki

Benzion Milecki has held the position of Rabbi at South Head Synagogue since January 1985, contributing to Sydney's second largest congregation with over 800 families. In addition, Benzion serves as the Centre Director and Lecturer for the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute, having developed one of the largest chapters of JLI in Australia and among the top ten globally. Since March 1979, Benzion has also worked as a Shliach for Chabad - Lubavitch and previously held the role of Vice President at the Organization of Rabbis of Australia from 1992 to 1998, advocating for the importance of Messianic yearnings in Judaism. Benzion founded Chabad Outreach at the Yeshiva Centre, focusing on Jewish university students in New South Wales between April 1981 and December 1985. Educational achievements include degrees in Rabbinics from Kollel Lubavitch, Central Lubavitcher Yeshiva, and the Rabbinical College of Australia & NZ, along with a HSC from Yeshiva College.
