Brendan Fawcett

Brendan Fawcett has two sons at Cardinal Wiseman school. Both previously attended St. John Fisher school, where Brendan was a school governor for six years prior to conversion.

Professionally Brendan has worked in a number of senior higher education leadership roles at the Universities of London, Leicester and Northampton. He currently leads the Planning Office at the University of Northampton where he manages a team that provides support for strategic decision making; management information and insight to support quality assurance and the student experience; and, understanding of performance and risk.

He has also had substantial experience working internationally and has served as a company director of a small social business – an educational charity involved in raising aspirations for school students from disadvantaged areas.

The Romero Catholic Academy exists to secure 3-19 Catholic Education in Coventry. They are a multi-academy company and an integral part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham; their founders are the Barberi and Newman Academy Trust. They work closely with the Diocesan Department of Education, the Local Authority, the Department for Education, their local academies and schools, local business and commerce, and the wider community.
