The Romero Catholic Academy
Last September, Laura began in role as KS1 Lead Practitioner for the Romero Catholic Academy. Prior to this, Laura worked at Good Shepherd for eight years teaching in years 1, 2 and 6 alongside her role as Special Educational Needs Coordinator. Laura now feels privileged to have the opportunity to work across our seven primary schools and enjoys working with teachers to create the best possible learning opportunities and outcomes for our children.
Laura is passionate about ensuring that children who attend the Romero schools have an education of the highest quality and that they truly enable every child to reach their full potential. Laura also works as an SLE and provides training and school to school support through the Blue Sky Teaching School.

The Romero Catholic Academy
The Romero Catholic Academy exists to secure 3-19 Catholic Education in Coventry. They are a multi-academy company and an integral part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham; their founders are the Barberi and Newman Academy Trust. They work closely with the Diocesan Department of Education, the Local Authority, the Department for Education, their local academies and schools, local business and commerce, and the wider community.
