Megan Gately serves as the Director of Learning & Engagement at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Foundation and Institute since October 2017. Previous roles include Director of Education and Outreach at the Museum of Ventura County, overseeing educational programming for over 5,000 students and managing significant grant funding. Megan also worked as a Social Studies Curriculum Specialist and Museum Educator for the Minnesota Historical Society, Vice President of the Arizona Council for History Education, and held various educational positions within the Arizona Historical Society and Desert Hills High School. A founding member of the local chapter of the National Council for History Education and involved in educational committees with the Japanese American Citizens League, Megan holds a Master's degree in Education Leadership and Policy from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in History/Secondary Education from the University of Arizona.
