Jayne Sierens has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jayne is currently working as a Business Development Manager at The Rounds, a Canadian-based company that provides secure networks for healthcare professionals to collaborate and connect. Prior to this, they worked at Nova Scotia Health Authority as a Project Coordinator, managing multi-million dollar institutional awards and facilitating collaborations with researchers, industry, and funding agencies. Jayne also served as a Manager on Secondment at Dalhousie University, where they managed the commercialization of intellectual property in life and health sciences. Earlier in their career, Jayne held positions such as Health Initiatives Manager at The Lung Association of Nova Scotia, Project Leader at Olds College, and Professional Sales Representative at Pfizer Australia. Jayne also worked as a Senior Post Doc Researcher at Prince Henry's Institute, where they conducted research, wrote publications, and provided leadership to research teams.

Jayne Sierens has an extensive education history. Jayne obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physiology from UCL in the years 1997 to 2000. Following that, they pursued a higher level of education and completed their PhD in Molecular Reproductive Biology at The University of Edinburgh from 2000 to 2004. To further enhance their professional skills, they enrolled in the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a diploma in Counselling. Additionally, Jayne Sierens has recently acquired the PAAB Training 2.0 certification from the Pharmaceutical Advertising Advisory Board (PAAB) in October 2021.
