David Jamieson has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications roles. David started their career as a Corporate Communications Manager at Carter Holt Harvey, where they handled corporate reputation, media relations, and crisis management. David then moved on to Air New Zealand, where they worked as a Corporate Communications Manager and Executive Analyst. During this time, they were involved in corporate reputation and crisis management, as well as project work for the CEO and Head of HR. After that, they joined Baldwin Boyle Group as a Senior Consultant before taking on the role of Corporate Communications Manager at Vector. In this position, they managed external and internal corporate communications, crisis management, and media relations. Following their time at Vector, David became the Executive General Manager of Corporate Affairs at Transfield Services, leading a global team and providing stakeholder management and corporate affairs advice across multiple countries. Currently, they serve as the Head of Marketing and Communications at The Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
David Jamieson holds an MBA from The University of Auckland, with a focus on Quant, Financial Management, Economics, Strategy, and Organizational Behavior. David also obtained a Certificate in Marketing and Public Relations from Massey University. David earned a BA in English from the University of Canterbury. Additionally, they have certifications as a Section4 Certified Brand Strategist and a Product Engagement Strategist, both obtained in 2022 from Section4.
