Andrew Burton Anderson is a pioneering landscape architect with extensive expertise in natural and cultural heritage management. As the Founding Principal and Senior Landscape Architect at Anderson Heritage Consultants since October 2019, Andrew has also held senior roles at WATG and Wimberly Interiors and serves as a Research Associate at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. With over a decade of experience as a World Heritage Expert Advisor for UNESCO and a proven track record as a World Heritage Nomination Expert Reviewer for both IUCN and ICOMOS, Andrew specializes in bridging scientific expertise with multidisciplinary design efforts. Previous roles include senior management at the Oman Botanic Garden and contributions to Parks Canada's World Heritage Tentative List. Andrew holds a Master of Science in World Heritage Management from University College Dublin and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph.
