Charlotte Walker is an experienced professional in community engagement and heritage management, currently serving as the Restoration Forth Community Engagement Manager at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh since February 2018. Charlotte has directed community engagement initiatives, including the Botanic Cottage and the Edible Gardening Project, and has managed projects focused on Edinburgh's natural and cultural heritage, including an ambitious initiative funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Previous roles encompass positions such as Heritage Coordinator at East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust and Project Coordinator at Newbattle Abbey College. Charlotte has also contributed as a volunteer co-founder of the Fife Young Archaeologists Club and served on the Board of Trustees for The Ecology Centre. Educational qualifications include an Mlitt in Museum and Gallery Studies from the University of St Andrews and a Master's degree in History and Scottish history from The University of Edinburgh.
