Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh
Kevin Reid has held the post of Director of Horticulture and Learning at RBGE since 2015. Previously, he was Director of Ness Botanic Gardens in the North West of England. Originally from a forestry background, his past work experience with the Northern Ireland Forest Service and the National Trust as a Property Manager at Lyme Park and Area Manager of the North Lake District. His role at RBGE is leading and managing the conservation of the Living Collection, expanding education and lifelong learning programmes, and maintaining and developing the estate infrastructure which supports our plants, science and visitor experience across the four Gardens.
