Ali Rivett

Ali Rivett has a diverse work experience in various organizations and positions. In 2023, they will become the Chief Executive of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists. From 2013 to 2023, they worked at the British Society for Rheumatology, starting as the Director of Clinical Affairs, then becoming the Acting Chief Executive, and finally the Chief Executive. At the British Medical Association, they served as a Senior Policy Executive and an Executive Officer from 2006 to 2013. They also worked as an Information Executive at PA Consulting Group in 2006 and as a Support Officer at The Scottish Government in 2005.

From 2000 to 2004, Ali Rivett attended The University of Edinburgh where they studied Classics. Ali earned an MA (Honours) degree in Classics with a First Class distinction.
