Anton Emmanuel

Anton Emmanuel has extensive work experience in healthcare and academia. Anton currently holds a position at NHS England as the Head of Workforce Race Equality Standard and previously served as the Interim Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Prior to this, they worked at the Royal College of Physicians as the Medical Director of Publishing and Editor In Chief. Anton also has a significant tenure at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant NeuroGastroenterologist. Additionally, they held a role at UCL as the Lead for BAME Award Gap programme.

Anton Emmanuel pursued their education at the University of London from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in the field of Medicine.
