Elaine McDaid is an experienced professional with a strong background in management and event coordination. Since October 2020, Elaine has served as the Specialty Manager for the Joint Committee on Intercollegiate Examinations at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Prior to this role, Elaine was involved in capital campaign events at the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland from April 2019 to July 2020. Elaine's extensive experience also includes serving as the Cruises and Events Manager at the National Trust for Scotland for 16 years and as a Visitor Services Advisor at the Edinburgh and Lothians Tourist Board. Earlier in Elaine's career, a role as a Tour Guide at Blair Athol Distillery provided foundational skills in customer engagement. Elaine holds an LLB Hons in Scots Law and an MSc Econ in Business and Management, both from the University of Aberdeen.
