Fahad Algumaia

Fahad Algumaia has extensive experience in the field of IT management. Fahad currently holds the role of IT Executive Director at The Royal Commission for AlUla since October 2019. Prior to that, they served as the CIO at National Unified Procurement Company "NUPCO" from October 2018 to September 2019. Fahad Algumaia also worked as the Chief Information Officer at KPMG from February 2018 to October 2018. Before that, they held the position of Director of Information Technology at Saudi Electricity & co generation regulatory authority from July 2016 to February 2018.

Fahad Algumaia has also co-founded and managed several companies. Fahad was the Co-Founder of Morni from May 2014 to December 2016, and the Co-Founder & General Manager of ABIS from April 2014 to July 2016. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, they worked at Saudi Industrial Property Authority "MODON" as a Systems Development Manager from March 2012 to April 2014, where they managed the systems development team and enhanced the software development life cycle. Fahad also served as a Project Manager at MODON from January 2012 to March 2012.

Additionally, Fahad Algumaia gained experience at Saudi Stock Exchange (TADAWUL) as a DBA/Project Manager from June 2004 to January 2012. In this role, they acted as the Business Intelligence Project Manager, Oracle BI Administrator, and the Capacity Process Manager.

Fahad Algumaia completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in 2003. Fahad then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering Track at California State University, Fullerton from 2006 to 2008.
