Fraser Houlder

Fraser Houlder serves as the Sports Partnership and Special Projects Executive Director at The Royal Commission for AlUla, beginning in October 2024. Previously, Houlder acted as Director at The Sports Consultancy from January 2018 to October 2024, facilitating global consultancy projects and generating significant revenues through rights sales for clients such as the Royal Bank of Canada and British Cycling. Houlder also directed the Female Sports Group between October 2014 and December 2017, focusing on mixed gender and female sports, and achieved notable commercial success with clients like Netball England. In addition, Houlder played a key role as Director at P&P World Cycling Revival for a brief period in 2017, contributing to the development of a major cycling celebration. Earlier experience includes a long tenure as General Manager at BDS Sponsorship, where various sponsorship strategies and sales were executed. Fraser Houlder holds a BA Hons in Economics and Marketing from the University of Stirling, earned between 1994 and 1998, and attended The Leys School from 1989 to 1993.
