Navdeep Hanjra

Navdeep Hanjra has extensive work experience in planning and development roles. Navdeep is currently the VP Planning and Development at The Royal Commission for AlUla, where they lead the department responsible for coordinating the creation and execution of the Master Plan for AlUla. Navdeep ensures that the growth and development of the area align with high standards of efficiency, safety, design, and environmental stewardship. Prior to this, they served as County Planning Executive Director at The Royal Commission for AlUla.

Before joining The Royal Commission for AlUla, Navdeep Hanjra worked at the Royal Commission of AlUla as the Director of Planning Strategy & Coordination, County Zoning & Planning. In this role, they developed planning programs, Master Plans, and land release strategies for various projects, including "Journey Through Time."

Navdeep Hanjra's earlier experience includes working as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Abu Dhabi University, where they taught graduate degree students in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design. Navdeep also worked as an SME in property and town planning at Mouchel International, focusing on business process re-engineering.

Navdeep began their career as a Town Planner/Compliance Officer at Hornsby Shire Council in Australia and later worked as a Development Assessment Officer at Rockdale City Council. Navdeep also worked as a Senior Architect at QBS Architects, where they were involved in residential projects and the preparation of project plans and applications.
