Phillip Hulatt - B. Tech.

Phillip Hulatt has over 30 years of experience in various security and risk management roles. Phillip is currently working as the Director of Security Operations at The Royal Commission for AlUla. Prior to this, they worked for Baker Hughes as the Enterprise Security Risk Management for the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, and India region, responsible for overseeing security operations in 17 countries. Phillip also served as a Security & Crisis Management Consultant at Petromasila, where they designed and managed security plans for oil fields. Hulatt has also held several leadership positions at General Electric, Atlantis Resorts, Gremick Security Service, G4S, Sandton Sun and Towers, Group 4 Falck, and Sun International, where they were responsible for managing security operations, risk management, and customer relationships.

Phillip Hulatt has a diverse and extensive education history. In 2022, they obtained a Certification in Business Continuity (CBCI) from the Business Continuity Institute (Marjason Consulting DWC-LLC, Dubai), specializing in Business Continuity and Crisis Management. In 2017 to 2018, Phillip completed a Diploma in Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP M.ISMI) from the International Security Management Institute in the United Kingdom, focusing on Security Management. In 2014, they received a Certificate, Level 4 BTEC in Security Surveying & Design from ARC Training International, also in the United Kingdom. Earlier, in 1997 to 1998, Phillip attended the University of the Witwatersrand, studying Business Administration and Management. In 1991 to 1996, they pursued multiple diplomas at Damelin, including Dip. Human Resources, Dip. Industrial Relations, and Dip. Business Management, specializing in Business & HR. Additionally, in 1995, Phillip obtained certification as a Certified EHS Practitioner from the National Occupation Safety Association in South Africa, focusing on Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician. In 1986 to 1988, they acquired a B.Tech degree in Marketing & Sales Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, emphasizing Marketing & Sales and Business. Finally, in 1979 to 1983, Phillip completed their high school education at Fairmont High School in Durbanville, Cape Town, South Africa, earning a Matric/High School Certificate of Competence Program. Furthermore, they currently hold CBCI Membership from The BCI, which was obtained in 2023.
