Waleed Aldayel

Waleed Aldayel has extensive work experience in project management and strategic leadership roles. Waleed has worked for various organizations, including The Royal Commission for AlUla, Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEPsaudi), King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KA.CARE), Office of Program Management-Ministry of Interior (OPM-MOI), and General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI).

At The Royal Commission for AlUla, Waleed has held positions such as Chief Strategy and Digital, Chief Strategy & EPMO Officer, and EPMO Director. Waleed has been responsible for launching AlUla's Vision, setting up project management frameworks, and developing project management policies and processes.

Prior to that, they worked as a PMO Director at MEPsaudi, where they were instrumental in establishing the PMO department and recruiting qualified project, program, and portfolio managers.

At KA.CARE, Waleed served as a PMO Support & Monitoring Manager and Senior Specialist, where they managed and delivered support projects for the PMO operations, identified challenges, and proposed recommendations to improve project management practices.

Waleed also worked at OPM-MOI as a Project Manager, leading a large-scale organization-development security project and supporting the formulation of a strategic plan for the client.

Earlier in their career, Waleed held roles at GOSI, including Total Quality Management Team Leader and Training Coordinator. Waleed achieved significant improvements in performance standards and managed training needs assessment projects.

Waleed Aldayel completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in 2000. Waleed then pursued a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2010. In 2023, they furthered their education by attending the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In addition, they obtained a certification in Project Management (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2011.
