Michael Hay

Michael Hay serves as the Property Facilities Manager and Tattoo Performer Administrator at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo since August 2019, where responsibilities include the administration of the School and implementation of training plans for up to 90 students annually. Previously, as a Training Advisor at the British Army Training Unit Kenya from March 2011 to September 2011, Michael provided training advice to units of up to 600 staff in preparation for operations in hostile environments. Prior experience also includes the role of Company Quarter Master Sergeant at the Infantry Training Centre (Catterick) from March 2009 to March 2011, overseeing logistical support for over 500 recruits and staff. Educational background includes attendance at Bonaly Primary School, Currie High School, and Firrhill High School.
