Nicola Buckley

Nicola Buckley currently serves as the Head of Learning at the Royal Horticultural Society, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Nicola accumulated extensive experience at Chester Zoo from April 2015 to May 2024, advancing through various titles including Head of Conservation Education and Engagement, Conservation Education and Engagement Manager, Learning Manager, Volunteer Manager, and Education Officer. Earlier career experiences include serving as Project Officer at Keele University from January 2010 to April 2015 and as Education Project Officer at Chester Zoo from August 2008 to January 2010. Nicola holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Earth Science from Keele University (2011-2015) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Conservation Science from the University of Central Lancashire (2005-2008).
