Kate Evans

Kate Evans has a strong background in media relations, communications, and marketing within the arts and theater industry. Kate currently holds the position of Head of Media Relations at the Royal Shakespeare Company since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Communications Executive at Birmingham Hippodrome from 2016 to 2018. Kate also served as a Communications Officer - Press and Digital Media at Belgrade Theatre from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they worked at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre as a Press and PR Manager (Maternity Cover) and later as a Marketing Officer - New Media from 2011 to 2014. Kate's career started as an Acting Marketing Manager (Volunteer) at The Crescent Theatre in 2010.

Kate Evans completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from the University of Warwick from 2005-2008. Kate further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from the University of Warwick from 2009-2010.
