Music Composer / Sound Designer / Music Director Roles at The Royal Shakespeare Company

Sarah Sayeed has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sarah most recently worked as a Creative Director at Project Phakama UK since June 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at the Royal Shakespeare Company since January 2017, including Music Composer, Sound Designer, and Music Director. Sarah has also worked as a Producer and Artist for various brands, including Brighton Mela 2020 and Ariana Rainbow. Sarah has been involved in projects such as Palace of Dreams 1964 and Myth of Sarah 'swith Anne Eltard. Additionally, Sarah has held positions in education and has received commissions and residencies. In 2008, they released music under their own name.

Sarah Sayeed began their education at The University of Manchester in 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical and Ancient Studies. Sarah completed their undergraduate studies in 2003. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Combined History in 2004.
