Andrew Tyler has been with the University of Stirling since January 1994 and currently holds the position of Scotland Hydro Nation Chair, focusing on leading research and innovation in the Scottish water sector to achieve net zero goals. Additionally, Andrew serves as the Deputy Dean and Associate Dean for Research in the Faculty of Natural Sciences, driving the research and innovation strategy. Andrew also leads the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences as the Head of Department. Andrew is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and has educational backgrounds in Environmental Gamma Ray Spectrometry, Remote Sensing and Digital Image Processing, and Geological Sciences.
