David Flynn is the Head of Research Division at the University of Glasgow, where David leads the Autonomous Systems and Connectivity Research Division. David is also a Professor of Cyber Physical Systems at the university. David is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and serves as the Technical Vice Chair at SP Energy Networks. Additionally, David is the Chair of IET Scotland and a Fellow at The RSA. David also holds positions at TUV SUD, MicroSense Technologies, and Engineering Policy Group Scotland. David has a PhD in Microsystems from Heriot-Watt University, along with a MSc in Microsystems and a BEng(Hons) in Electrical & Electronic.
