David Gow is a Fellow at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, a Member NEC at the National Union of Journalists, a Senior Adviser at Social Europe, a Senior advisor/consultant editor at Acumen Public Affairs, and the Founder editor of Sceptical.scot. David is also the Director of Clissold Park Associates, a company David set up with their wife Gayle Brinkerhoff. David has previously worked as a Senior Adviser at cabinet DN, Chairman at VCH, and Consultant Editor at Nucleus - Centre for a new Europe. David was also the European Business Editor at The Guardian. David holds a BA in French/German from the University of Oxford and an MA in Romance languages/literature from King's College, London.
