Jim Fairbairn

Jim Fairbairn is the CEO Designate at Bodycote and a Fellow at the Royal Society of Edinburgh and The Royal Academy of Engineering. Previously, Jim served as the CEO of Megger and held executive positions at Howden Group, managing large engineering systems for blue-chip clients. Prior to that, Jim was the CEO of Clyde Materials Handling and managed Clyde Process Solutions PLC and Clyde Bergemann Limited, focusing on energy efficiency products and services. Jim holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA in Management from Loughborough University.
