Matthew Arbesfeld is the CEO and Co-Founder of LogRocket, a position held since May 2016. Additionally, Matthew serves as a Thiel Fellow for The Thiel Foundation since January 2016. Prior experiences include a Growth Intern role at Clara Labs, achieving a 200% improvement in customer trial-to-paid conversion, and an Engineering Intern position at Meteor Development Group, where efforts were made to add native iOS and Android support for Meteor apps. Earlier internships at Google on the Chrome Team focused on the implementation of the createImageBitmap JavaScript API. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, following graduation from Lexington High School in 2012.

Freedom is always under siege. Around the world, authoritarian regimes deprive millions of people of basic economic and social rights. Even elected governments can burden their citizens with labyrinthine bureaucracies and complex, unnecessary laws. And while some regimes are obviously worse than others, they all have apologists who obscure these conditions by twisting the relationship between freedom and human fulfillment.
