Rory Duncan is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (FRSE) and currently serves as the Pro Vice-Chancellor at Sheffield Hallam University. Their extensive experience includes roles such as Director at UK Research and Innovation, Senior Academic Lead for Strategy and Development at Heriot-Watt University, and Founding Head of Research Institute focusing on Biological Chemistry, Biophysics, and Bioengineering. Their research interests encompass the innovative use of light to address healthcare challenges and they have been actively involved in various scientific advisory committees and funding committees.
