Wenxuan Hou

Wenxuan Hou is a prominent academic in the field of Corporate Finance, currently serving as Chair at the University of Edinburgh Business School since September 2016. Wenxuan is also a Member of the Academia Europaea and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. In addition, Wenxuan holds significant editorial roles as Joint Editor for the British Accounting Review and Editor in Chief for the Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies. Previously, Wenxuan co-chaired the RSE Young Academy of Scotland and served as President of the Chinese Economic Association (UK/Europe). Academic qualifications include a PhD in Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School.
