Daniel Ferguson currently serves as the Social Secretary for the Edinburgh University History Society, a position held since June 2023, focused on organizing and managing social events while ensuring attendee welfare. Previously, Daniel held the role of Student Experience Officer, successfully delivering biweekly coffee mornings and a charity fundraiser. Concurrently, Daniel works as a Visitor Assistant and Evening Guide at The Royal Yacht Britannia, enhancing visitor experiences through informative tours. Past experience includes serving as an Usher for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, managing spectator entry, and working as a Weekend Assistant at Stephens Bakery, where attentiveness to customer needs was recognized by management. Daniel is pursuing a Master of Arts in History and Politics at The University of Edinburgh, expected to graduate in May 2026, building on a solid educational foundation from Dollar Academy.

The Royal Yacht Britannia is situated in Edinburgh's historic port of Leith. For over forty years Britannia proudly served as a floating Royal residence to Her Majesty The Queen and the British Royal family. For 12 successive years, Britannia has been named Scotland's Best Visitor Attraction (VisitScotland) and is renowned as one of the world’s most luxurious and prestigious evening events venues.
