Jennifer Tanner

Jennifer Tanner has extensive experience in educational administration and student support, currently serving as the Assistant Head of School for Community Life at The Sage School since 2001. Tanner has held multiple roles at The Sage School, including Student Dean and Dean of Student Life, Equity, & Justice. Previous positions include Residential Dean at the Civic Education Project, where Tanner managed residential staff and facilitated community engagement programs, and Assistant Language Director at Middlebury Interactive Languages. Tanner also has experience as a Spanish teacher in summer immersion programs and served as Site Director/Dean of Residential Life at Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth in Madrid. Tanner holds a BA in Spanish from Clark University and an MA in Educational Psychology with a focus on Gifted Education from the University of Connecticut.
