Jan Sklenar

Proteomic Support at The Sainsbury Laboratory

Jan Sklenar has extensive experience in proteomics, currently serving in a proteomic support role at The Sainsbury Laboratory since 2009. Responsibilities include the identification of proteins, peptides, and posttranslational modifications using advanced mass spectrometry techniques. Additionally, Jan provides proteomics project support and develops applications for the analysis and quantification of these biological molecules. Prior to this, Jan completed a PhD in Biochemistry at Charles University and held a student position at the Institute of Microbiology, The Czech Academy of Sciences from September 1998 to May 2009, encompassing both PhD studies and a postdoctoral position.
