John Ridings

John Ridings, PhD, LCSW, currently serves as a Program Services Analyst at The Salvation Army Chicago Metropolitan Division, providing data analysis to enhance program delivery and leading agency-wide program evaluation efforts since September 2011. In addition, John has been an Adjunct Instructor at Loyola University Chicago since September 2016, teaching masters-level social work courses in research, and holds a faculty position at the Institute for Clinical Social Work, where teaching includes dissertation seminars and research courses for doctoral and master's candidates. John has also worked as a Visiting Instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago since August 2003, teaching various research-focused social work courses. Previous roles include Director of Program Evaluation at Metropolitan Family Services, Co-Investigator/Consultant on significant research projects related to elder self-neglect and financial exploitation, and consulting with local mental health centers in DuPage County. John holds a PhD in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago, an AM in Social Work from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Sociology from Western Illinois University.
