Melanie Mashburn

Melanie Mashburn is currently the administrator for Community Scholarships at The San Diego Foundation. Prior to their current position, they were a program manager intern for the Step Up Program at the Consensus Organizing Center at San Diego State University. Melanie has also held positions as an office coordinator at the San Diego Council on Literacy and a clinical social work intern at Kids' Turn San Diego. Melanie began their career as an office assistant at ArtsQuest and later became a school counseling intern at The Swain School. Melanie has also worked as an attendant for the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District.

Melanie Mashburn earned a Master's Degree in Admin/Community Development Social Work from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Penn State University.

Their manager is Michelle Jaramillo, Director, Education Initiatives. Melanie Mashburn works with Nicole Lohn - Expanded Learning Analyst, Cecilia Morales - Manager, Education Initiatives, and Danielle Valenciano - Director, Community Scholarships.
