Msw Cristina Hernández Mdiv

Cristina Hernández, MSW, MDiv, is a bilingual staff counselor at The San Diego LGBT Community Center since June 2022, where responsibilities include providing one-on-one counseling and developing educational programs. Previously, Cristina served as a case manager at Believe In Success, supporting domestic violence program participants, and as an advocate for the Immigrants' Rights & Sex Trafficking Program at Boston University School of Law, assisting vulnerable immigrants with case management and counseling services. Additional experience includes roles in organizational support and mobilization, such as lead organizer at the Interfaith Center for Worker Justice and social justice intern at Mission Church of the Nazarene. Cristina holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Social Work from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from Seattle Pacific University.
